Caring and sharing
Teckwah is committed to maintaining safe working environments for our people to work in; ensuring business continuity for our customers in the face of the unexpected; adopting environment-friendly businesses practices; and giving back to the communities that we serve.
Code of Business Ethics
Teckwah has in place a Code of Business Ethics which employees are required to observe for the purpose of maintaining a high standard of integrity and business conduct. This code clearly defines the process through which employees, in confidence, report possible improprieties in financial reporting or other matters to the Audit Committee for independent investigation and follow-up action.

Business Continuity Management (BCM) Policy
Our Business Continuity Plan ensures that our business processes continue as normal with minimal disruptions in the event of the unexpected. We are committed to:
- meeting customers’ expectations of continuity of supply and minimising any disruptions in the event of disaster;
- fulfilling our shareholders’ expectations that management is fully in control, and is seen to be in control of any crisis;
- minimising recovery time in the event of disruptions to our business operations;
- protecting our company’s reputation and brand from negative impact
This shall be achieved by:
- involving everyone in the organisation;
- ensuring that our BCM process mirrors our constantly changing organisational needs;
- continually monitoring and improving on BCM processes by setting clear objectives and targets;
- having roles and responsibilities that are clearly defined and communicated to all interested parties;
- auditing and maintaining the BCM process continuously to ensure that it becomes an integral part of our company’s culture
FSC Certification
At Teckwah, we promote responsible forest management, choosing to source our raw materials from forests that have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
Giving back to the community
A firm believer in the virtue of giving back to society, Teckwah actively advocates a wide variety of community and educational services. We exhibit that particular trait and perform our social responsibility through partnerships with government and private sectors. We share our wealth of knowledge; speaking at public seminars, collaborating with educational institutions on their internship programmes, and furnishing these institutions with sponsorships and real industry content for their use as teaching materials. In addition, we organise mass volunteer drives in various charities and participate in social and community-based activities such as the President’s Star Charity, NKF Blood Donation Drive, Community Chest, etc. Teckwah hopes that our spirit of community will further strengthen and bring the community closer.
